The world of audiology improves through research. As a respected practice in our field, we are sometimes approached by universities, professional organizations, and hearing aid manufacturers to conduct or participate in research studies in the areas of hearing aid design, professional issues, and consumer marketing.

Routine Cleaning
A leading hearing aid manufacturer has developed a high-end hearing device that is scheduled for release later this year. The product development phase is complete, but they've asked a few clinics around the country to fit a number of these devices before launch to aid them in their marketing campaign production. Essentially, they want to see what the public likes about the product so they can incorporate that into their marketing materials and product brochures.

We are looking for 20-30 participants to wear this device for a period of 30 days and provide feedback about design, comfort, and sound quality. A survey will be completed at the beginning of the study and again at the end of the study.

Eligible participants will receive a comprehensive hearing evaluation and the opportunity to purchase the devices at the end of the study at a substantial discount. No purchase is necessary.

Participants must be at least 18 years old and experience some degree of hearing difficulty. If the participant is an experienced hearing aid wearer, he or she should be less than 100% satisfied with his or her existing hearing aids. Prior hearing aid experience is NOT required.
